Terms of Service

Our Terms are simple. Use our "Adoption Form" and our "Contract". This is worth covering twice. These are some things we look for in our adopters:

• General knowledge of the species you are considering adopting. If you don't know everything, that's fine. A willingness to learn will get you a long way. We are here to help you!
  
  
• A stable and loving environment for the animals. We want to know that they will be well cared for, and that the person will be willing to handle the day-to-day feeding, cleaning, and socialization.
  
  
• The cost of caring for an animal, including all habitat needs, food, and vet visits if needed.
  
  
• Reptiles adopted from Herp Halfway House are intended to be kept as family pets only...not breeders.
  
  
• You must be 18 years old or older to adopt from Herp Halfway House. If you are younger than 18, please have your parent or guardian fill out the application.
  
  We will ship at the adopters expense. Shipping varies according to the animal being adopted.
